WHAT THE FLUX IS UP WITH RELUCTANCE?
Reluctance is to magnetism as resistance is to electricity. This video goes into the math and concepts behind this not so tricky idea.

WHAT THE FLUX IS MMF?
Просмотров 5 тыс.3 года назад
There is no need to make magnetism more complicated than it has to be. In this series I will walk through the concepts of Magnetomotive force.
LEFT HAND RULE FOR COILS
Просмотров 4,5 тыс.3 года назад
Remember that we are dealing with electron current flow, hence the left hand and not the right hand. This video will show you how to determine poles with electrical polarity or determine electrical polarity with poles.
BOOLEAN ALGEBRA (LOGIC GATES): For Electricians
Просмотров 2,5 тыс.3 года назад
Let's not overcomplicate things shall we? As with most things the explanation of logic gates can be tricky. They don't have to be. This video walks through what each one does.
Connecting DC sources in series (and parallel)
Просмотров 1,6 тыс.3 года назад
As long as you observe the polarity you will have nooooo problems. If you need help at all with fundamental electrical math check out the course I partnered with the British Columbia Institute of Technology on: www.bcit.ca/telc0015
MOTOR EFFICIENCY: What about the power factor?
Просмотров 13 тыс.3 года назад
Motors are inductors so we need to account for power factor. If you need help with electrical math check out: www.bcit.ca/telc0015
Motor efficiency calculations explained
Просмотров 22 тыс.3 года назад
As with most electrical concepts, this one often gets overcomplicated when it doesn't need to be.
ACTUAL POWER VS RATED POWER
Просмотров 9 тыс.3 года назад
Just because something is rated at a certain wattage does not necessarily mean that it will put out that power no matter what.
FARADAY'S LAW EXPLAINED
Просмотров 3,2 тыс.3 года назад
As current rises and falls across an inductor, a voltage is induced. We use Faraday's law to determine what that voltage is.
VOLTAGE DIVIDER WITH A GROUND REFERENCE.
Просмотров 8 тыс.3 года назад
This video walks through the basics of a voltage divider circuit and the importance of understanding what your ground reference is.
VOLTAGE DIVIDERS (UNLOADED VS LOADED)
Просмотров 16 тыс.3 года назад
Adding a load into a voltage divider makes a significant difference to the circuit. This video walks through the process and how to calculate it.
UNBALANCED BRIDGE CIRCUITS
Просмотров 1,7 тыс.3 года назад
This video walks through how to calculate unbalanced bridge circuits and how to determine the current in a jumper.

Sorry where u get the 746 from ?
Thanks 😊👍🙏💯
I'm lucky to find this video. Can't wait to explore your channel. Thank you so much
The best
Can I get a link for vectors how to to where to start
"Punch a hole in the wall" in a rental?
why is that the book i read it was done clockwise. what's the difference sir? the Author of my book is Robert Rosenberg
Aporox @5:00 you cant calculate current strictly from turns, (ampere-turns). Without a value for EMF. Current is stil governed by ohms law. Maybe your calculating the max current ?
Thank you very much. God bless you
Living off grid, just My Wife and i, We have used this type cord for four years connected to Our small generator and to an electrical outlet. We only use a few lights, fans and a small ac in the summer. Everything else is propane. Always kept the main breaker off with a metal bracket i made with a lock. In Our situation, it has worked great. Now, this is not for everyone and i do not recommend it if You don't know what Your doing. Being an electrician, I have seen much worse electrical rigs. If You don't know what Your doing, just be safe, get an interlock switch for the main breaker and do it right.
I miss doing these calculations 😊 I used to do this n high school
230 v to 56 volt Please winding ratio Ampere not issue
This has been of so much help to me. Thank you so much.
Thank you!
At 5:48 when you calculate amps from VA, you divide VA by Volts. Do you not also need to divide by sqrt of 3?
Square root of 3? Vs root of 3?
Thank you!!!
beatiful
The dotted line means its mechanically operated
Great video
your sketch couldnt be right in this situation v is maximum ......
From the knuckle to the fingertip helps me understand flow much better, thank you
So this is all for single phase transformer.
60 is a curve to see who is paying attention. It's obviously 55.90
Have a nice day Sir.Can i ask a question. What if parallel wye , low voltage. tap to the contactor. thanks
great explanation. can someone also explain how many amps can such circuit deliver to the load?
I enjoyed the video really clarified the calculations. The question I am left with is in Manitoba Breaker panels don't have a 90C breaker rating only 75C therefore even if we have 90C cable we are forced to use the 75C column for wire ampacity so what impact does that have on distance correction factor if the 90c cable rating is not allowed to be used because it is supplied by a breaker only rated for 75C?
How to you inverse sign both sides on a calculator my brain isn’t making sense of this, how did u get 38.4
Nice explanation but you have to write and explain some clearly. Also I have got some information in this video thanks for you
how making some vides that are missing values that you need to solve for the circuit.
Very informative video I wish you were my teacher in Humber college 25 years ago and thanks
Thank you
Short and simple.Tomorrow is my exam and I have understood this topics in 5 minutes thanks.❤
230 v to 60 Please turn ratio primary to secondary out put
btw this is by far the most helpful videos I have ever seen and helping me study for the red seal examination! thank you so much
for example 5, there is 2 different kinds of cables with different kinds of temperature ratings, R90 & TW. you said the r90 has a 90degree rating and the. tw has a 60 degree rating? how do I know or where can I find what temperature ratings the cables have? is it in the code book or should it be known already?
What I have understood Voltage regulator = Voltage blocker (it just consumes that much voltage)
Very helpful
Wow, great explanation,tnx!!!!
🎯
My core 30 mm long Dia 10 mm Input 230 Out put 56 v5 amp Current ac main input Please tell me ratio
Dude use a microphone vid sound sucks
Not 100% accurate for the low voltage explanation because you aren’t connecting the 4/5/6 connection and the 10/11/12. It is actually 2 windings in parallel with 2 windings. Not each winding paralleled. But good enough for the beginner.
This guy is really good
Best lecture GOD bless you 🤲🏻
What The Hell ... I am trying to Understand This Topic From Several Hours But can't Figure out It ... But you have Explained This Topic in just 1 minute ... You are just Awesome ❤❤
Thanks for the video! I have basic knowledge and trying to get my 3phase lathe connected to a vfd. My 9wire motor low voltage setting is wye like this one. My question is about 4,5,6. After wiring L1,L2,L3, do I just leave 4,5,6 capped together inside ? Also if the motor has no ground would it be acceptable to wire my own ground to the chassis?
Name of each components please.
🎉🎉
What about source voltage and voltage across capacitor? Are they in phase or capacitor voltage lags behind?
